Chris' faith in Christ shapes his priorities in life and ministry. In Christ, Chris finds a perfect love in which all things can be made new. This drives Chris' passion for justice and peace, for Christian unity and interfaith dialogue. Chris is a theologian, liturgist and contextual practitioner. Chris currently serves as the Superintendent Minister of the Wolverhampton Circuit.

Rev'd Chris was born in the Midlands and has always lived in the region. After reading his BSc (Econ) in Economics at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth, Chris trained with KPMG and qualified in Chartered accountancy in 2001. After eleven years at the firm and a year working for GKN, Chris trained for Methodist ministry at the Queen's Foundation for Ecumenical Education.

Beyond his responsibilities in the circuit, Chris serves the wider Methodist Church as a member of the World Church Sub-Committee (of the Connexional Grants Committee). In 2019, Chris was appointed a member of the Governening body of the Queen's Foundation and a member of the Audit Committee. Beyond the church, Chris is a board member of InterFaith Wolverhampton, The Fellowship of Reconciliation England/Scotland and the Methodist Peace Fellowship
